The Eclat Cortex Freecoaster comes 100% upgraded with 2x nylon guards and new technology (Internal O-Ring System). Made of aircraft type 6061 T6 aluminum with shaft and nuts from Cromoly. The difference of the Cortex from the common KHE clutch system coasters is in the path made by the piston, to fasten to the shell and vice versa, to the bearing with an O-Ring instead of the common balls that sometimes stick. This way the bearing is not damaged and rolls more gently.
