Aztek developed the Ember SCS clamp to be lighter and smoother than any previous model. By moving the bolts as close as possible to the bars, combined with a weight-saving recessed bolt holes, they were able to make this SCS as light as possible while still giving you more than enough clamping power to stay tight.
