The Skate/BMX helmet, launched in 1998, is an absolute classic that has served as a model for many others. This regular-shaped half-helmet became famous in 1999 when it protected skateboarding legend Tony Hawk from a serious injury while attempting a full loop.
The Tuned Fit system allows the rider to adjust the fit using pads of different thickness inside the helmet. Helmets always come with two sizes of pads. Each size is offered in a different color, making it easy to determine the appropriate pads to adjust the helmet to the head. It is very important to adjust the helmet using these pads.
